Strathkelvin Writers' Group aims to develop and encourage all forms of writing by its members: fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children's writing.
Strathkelvin Writers Group was founded in 1982, and celebrated its Silver Jubilee in September 2007. Our Honorary President is Margaret Thomson Davis, the well-known and respected Glasgow novelist.
If you are a writer at any stage in your development - from the professional to the very beginner, you are welcome to join us. As a member you would be free to share your work with the group or simply to come along and enjoy the atmosphere of a lively and active club.The group meets at 7.30 pm each Tuesday from September to May in the hall of St James the Less Episcopal Church, Hilton Road, Bishopbriggs. >>
